Arts and sciences dean candidates on campus over the next two weeks
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Four candidates for the position of dean of the Western Michigan University College of Arts and Sciences will give public presentations on campus during the final two weeks of March.
About the candidate presentations
The candidates, their current positions and the time, day, date and location of their WMU presentations are:
- Dr. Richard Utz, chair of the School of Literature, Media and Communication at the Georgia Institute of Technology; 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, in Fetzer Center's Putney Lecture Hall.
- Dr. Carla Koretsky, dean of the WMU Lee Honors College; 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in 1750 Sangren Hall.
- Dr. Richard Boone, professor in the Department of Biology and Wildlife and the Institute of Arctic Biology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks; 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, Fetzer Center's Putney Lecture Hall.
- Dr. Gary Wihl, the Hortense and Tobias Lewin Distinguished Professor in the Humanities at Washington University in St. Louis; 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, Fetzer Center's Putney Lecture Hall.
